Definitely make sure you exfoliate every day to reduce the chance of ingrown hairs and I think if you also use the epilator regularly, you'll only have regrowth to deal with once you've used it initially, as it picks up very short hairs. I couldn't recommend this enough, I bought it through the Boots offer (runs to end of July '09), so it was £66, but a very worthwhile £66 in my opinion and will pay for itself when I don't have to buy any more wax/razors. I started using it dry and some parts were ok, more sensitive in others and I winced a little easier in the bath, but difficult to see what you're doing underwater, so be careful! I have tackled my bikini line in stages, just because it's quite torturous, but the effects were amazing and definitely more effective than waxing. I used the facial attachment for lip/chin and that definitely did sting in places, but v.effective nonetheless.īikini line.ouch! Again, I've been waxing for years (Brazilian) and was a bit wary of using the epilator there. Underarms I also did dry and again, wasn't too bad, but that may be because I've waxed my underarms for years now. The hair on my legs is darker, but some fair/fine hairs too and it dealt with both very quickly and effectively. I used it dry on my arms and legs, have v.fair/fine hair on my arms, but wanted them hairfree for summer. I've always been a fan of waxing, so the sensation wasn't totally alien to me, but it definitely smarts in certain places. I bought one of these a week ago and have so far epilated my arms, legs, underarms, face and bikini line.
